HomeGrown Restaurant Concepts is a restaurant group out of Atlanta. Since opening our first restaurant, Doc Chey’s, over a decade ago, we’ve expanded our restaurant family to include Osteria 832 (est. ’03) & Dragon Bowl (’14). Critics and diners alike rave about our affordable, award-winning menus, and our commitment to fostering good karma in the neighborhoods we serve.
Our goal is simple: to serve you delicious Asian-inspired bowls. But simple does not always mean easy. Every day, we cut cases of raw vegetables, hand-mix our rice grain blend, create our house-made sauces, grill our meats to order and brew fresh beverages…and we do it at a price you can afford. There’s nothing easy about that!
We like to serve locally grown and seasonal ingredients so our menu will reflect the season. We also like daily specials because they give our chef the opportunity to flex his creative muscles and stretch the boundaries of what a Dragon Bowl can be. We made a bold decision and chose not to offer fountain drinks. Why? Because we believe that our organic iced teas and craft sodas made with real cane sugar (not corn syrup!) are not only better for you, but also taste better than sodas that come from a box.
We aspire to be a restaurant that not only takes care of our guests by serving great food, but one that takes care of the community we serve AND the earth we share. We feel it’s worth the extra expense to serve our take-out food in 100% compostable/recyclable packaging and to use china made from renewable bamboo that is biodegradable after it useful life. It is also why we actively support schools and charitable organizations that help make our community a better place.
